MILF joins search for kidnapped priest

MANILA, Oct. 20, 2009— The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has joined search and rescue operations for kidnapped Irish Catholic priest Fr. Michael Sinnott. MILF spokesman Eid Kabalu said they willing to intervene for the possible recovery of the priest from the Missionary Society of St. Columban. Kabalu yesterday said the MILF has already sent an emissary to Sultan Naga Dimaporo town, where the military said Fr. Sinnott was being held, to secure his release. MORE
